Good Parents Speak English?

A woman speaks Chatino and gives birth in a Mississippi hospital.  The hospital staff brings in a Puerto Rican interpreter, whom the new mother didn’t understand.  The hospital calls the woman negligent and unfit.  She loses her baby. 

 I’m sick and don’t have the energy to comment, except to say WTF.
